I have been racing in just a two piece , but at mid-40 years old thought I should cover up a bit more. I've ridden in these shorts but haven't tried swimming or running in them yet. The leg grippers seems like they will stay put and the fit is true to size.
The fabric is thick enough to feel secure but not too constricting.

This runs a bit small, but it is a good short. I bought a medium based on some other reviews. It is just right (I am usually a small). I also bought the Pearl Izumi elite and this is more substantial. I will wear this one to train in. Can't beat the price!
