When you get these, they are super soft! The material is very high quality, and extremely well made! I ordered the "Retro Logo" which I loved the look of. But like the previous reviewer, I agree, the leg openings flare out quite a bit. I laid these shorts out with a couple of my favorite running shorts and even a couple pairs of swim trunks that I have and love. The Solana Run shorts had them all beat in regards to the width of the leg openings... by a couple inches in some cases, so disappointing! I didn't even attempt to test them out, I just returned them instead. Honestly, this product is truly the only product I've ever been disappointed with from DeSoto! Their triathlon shorts and tops are second to none!

wanted to try these for running, as ive heard good things about the brand.  the waist fits fine, (im 6ft, 170 lbs.)  however the leg openings were enorrmous.  i could put both of my legs through one side of the shorts.  deffinitely going back.
