I bought these shorts a month before my ironman with some trepidation because you''re not supposed to change anything on race day but, no worries. These shorts were great and worth every cent. On the bike they were comfortable and offered as much cushion as my bike shorts. I didn''t even notice them on the run. They were smooth with not chafing. I would definitely recommend them for any length of triathlon.

What''s great: compression, fit, comfort, overall quality and versatility.
What''s not so great: couple of pockets would be helpful.
I love forza riviera! Absolutely perfect for me for up to half ironman distance. Padding is very comfortable in all 3 sports, allows me to stay in aero position on the bike for a long time. I don''t notice it at all during the swim, and on the run it does not feel like a diaper at all.

My boyfriend and I both use these for Ironman. No problems, great compression no chaffing and the pad is perfect for 112!

Love this extra padding vs most normal tri shorts, but its not so much as to be uncomfortable on the run.  Have only done an olympic in them but I wouldn''t hesitate to wear them up to about 50 miles or maybe more on a normal ride.  Super fast to dry!  Love the compression on the quads.  Noticed coming out of the water the bottom of legs were a little loose which was odd since I had worried initially they were too tight overall, but as they dried they tightened right up.  They are VERY low cut however so just be aware depending on your physique you may need a longer jersey if you don''t want your skin showing above.  These are the lowest cut of the DeSoto lineup.  I won''t hesitate to put these on for running only.

I'm 6' tall 150 pounds and I wear a medium. They are compression tri shorts so they are snug. I prefer mine this way because I do open water swims in them. Excellent tri shorts. These are my second pair. Very comfortable padding in them.

I purchased the shorts just a week before my first Ironman in Canada. It is very comfortable and I did not have any chaffing issues that I had to worry about. The tightness around my quads gave it a compression feeling. The only thing about the shorts that I would have like is that legs length could be longer, just a personal preference. The padding however seems a little bulky that I did not wear them during the run. Because I earned the rights... I AM AN IRONMAN..
