That might sound dramatic, but I've always had difficulty swimming because of how uncomfortable I would get with water in my ears.  Not anymore!  I couldn't recommend these more!  You just have to make sure you get a good seal.  Follow the directions exactly on how to put them in - you'll know when you get the right seal.

These have a reasonably good seal. In fact I have to be careful not to put them in too far. Overall, they do the job.

These make a really good seal. I only use them for comfort-not a medical reason. Also, my swimming is at a beginner level-no racing. I thought the seal was very snug, in fact I have to be careful not to put them too far in. To be honest, if there is a little leaking going on, I don't think I'd notice. Overall, they do the job for me.

better than the silicon blob style earplug by far! Keeps the water out, and still allows you to hear. They are very comfortable and soft, and cause absolutely no discomfort when inserted properly to the correct depth. My whole family uses them!
