i use this bag to hold my fins, kickboard and my wet swimsuit. even with all those things in it, it still has tons of space. i have the pink. its very bright and pretty.

My child loves this bag because it has backpack straps, most mesh bags have some sort of drawstring that's not quite as easy to carry. Once a child reaches the age where they are using fins, snorkel, paddles, etc. it's much easier to use a separate bag for gear & water that you carry right onto the deck. Reduces clutter and moisture in your regular swim bag.

This is a nice size for fins and kick board and more durable with a better shape and easier to carry then the standard. The Carolina Blue is much lighter- really a baby blue.

My daughter is 5, so it is easier for her to carry this as opposed to the large mesh bag we did have. My only complaint is that it really only fits her kickboard and fins. I used to be able to put a couple of wet towels in the mesh bag, but we're lucky if this one fits one small towel. However, it is still more convenient overall than the mesh bag, hence the 4 stars.
