I ordered this in a large for my son because he wanted to fit looser like a tee shirt and not snug and it fits perfectly. I bought it for our upcoming vacation so we haven't tried it in the water yet but we are looking forward to it.

Size: Feels too big
My husband usually wears a large--he wears a 44 jacket and 33 waist---the shirt was enormous on him at every point.  The shoulders were huge the waist was also redundant. This was beyond loose fitting unfortunately.

Shirt has a great design to it. It is a little baggy which may be ok or not as it gets wet. I do like the way it looks could wear it anywhere.
