I use these shoes for water aerobics and water walking 3-5 times each week. They are quite a bit too large and there's no effective way of cinching them so they fit more snuggly. The single velcro "closure" doesn't do anything at all to snug the shoes. I had to replace the liners with the liners from my old water shoes after 2 wearings as the upper surface of the liners began peeling off. They are already starting to come apart on the inside where several stitched areas are already startilng to give way. All in all they have proved less than satisfactory and I will have to replace them. I'll use them until I can purchase much sturdier water shoes which I can lace or which have several velcro strips so that they can be tightened to fit properly. I expect I got just what I paid for, but I'd hoped for better.

I use the water shoes to run in the pool. I normally buy a size 9 for workout shoes; so, I bought the same for water shoes. I also wear socks. The shoes fit true to size. They are very supportive and do a great job of filtering out water while you are in the pool.
