I got into swimming and triathlons about 10 years ago, and one of the first thing i did was ditch the baggy shorts and get a real swimsuit. I find racer briefs to fit much more comfortable than jammers, and I prefer the TYR brand to others for fit and comfort. I bought this to replace a durafast/poly suit which I had bought for the long lasting quality. The durafast suit was very durable and probably would have lasted many years, but I prefer the fit of lycra suits. You could size down if you prefer a snug racing fit, but if you are just looking to use is as a training suit, then I''d suggest going with your true size.

It is a good basic swimming suit, not recommended for water polo or competitive swim meets. But for practice it gets the job done.

Purchased for lap swimming/routine exercise. Fits great - doesn't bind, with flat waist band - has neat appearance. Would purchase another one.
