Although this suit is nicely lined and made of heavier material, it runs very small. My 6yr old usually wears a 6x for length. I purchased a 7 thinking 1 size up. It was way too tight and short! So, I reconsidered and purchased a 10. The length was good, but the top of the suit was then gapping. This suit is also cut too low in the chest, even in the larger size!

It's a nice suit for the value, but I found it ran a little large. My daughter wears a size 12, but when I got it, it was big in the legs. I ordered a 2nd suit and got a 10, it fits perfect now!

My child is on a swimteam and we got this as a practice suit. Based on other reviews, we bought one size larger. This was a mistake as the suit runs very true to size and it will be a while before she can wear this. It is kind of low cut in front, so this needs to be kept in mind.

The suit is true to size, but the top front droops down now after the first wear. It is very loose, allowing for water to flow into it while swimming, which I imagine slows her down.

Bought this suit (size 8) for my 8 year old--too small. Glad my 6 year old can wear it. Next time-buy up 1 size to fit true to size. Also--the front of the suit if cut low on the neckline-wish it was a bit higher for little girls.
