Purchased this swim suit for my 8 yr old daughter. She wears a size 7 so just to be on the safe side I went up one size and ordered an 8. The fit wasn't even close! Exchanged the 8 for a 10 and the fit was perfect. Great suit, no "see through" once it gets wet. Gave it 3 stars because of the big size discrepancy and the fact that I had to pay for shipping on the exchange. Otherwise, a great suit -- would recommend to a friend.

It is a cute suit and my daughter loves it but I think there is just something not quite right about it. It doesn't fit that well. The shape is off for a little girl. I bought this for my 6yr old, it is a size 7. the front comes down pretty far and the sides/strap is too big so not much of her "chest" area is covered. Would not buy this suit or style again. Not the best for practice, just play.

My daughter is on a competitive swim team and practices five days a week. This suit is well priced, fits her well, has several color options, and is comfortable while she's swimming. It's lined front and back, which is also a nice feature. One note: a size 12 fits a little smaller than a size 28 (on my daughter anyway) so I returned the size 12 for a size 14 and it fit her just fine. (She owns two now.)

Fits a full figured little swimmer very well. I would NOT recommend buying a larger size! This is a great practice suit, especially for the price.

Very modest suit....a touch lower in the front than I expected, but still one of the best I've found out there that isn't way too much money to pay for something my daughter will have outgrown in a year.
