We use the cap around the pool so individuals can identify guards PLUS it helps shade the faces of the guards. It is what it is, a baseball cap. The color and emblem are what makes it needed around the pool deck. The men coaches like it - the women coaches prefer a visor but the visor isn't as well-designed so some of the women coaches are chosing the baseball cap as well.
