If your toddler is just getting the hang of swimming this works perfectly to give that little added bit of security.
We came across this at our swim club. Recommended by one of the lifeguards while we were using our inflatable "water wings" .
This is so much better and allows freedom of movement.
But do not take your eyes off of your beginning swimmer for a moment and always be within an arms length reach.

This product is used where my kids take swimming lessons. So I decided to order them. We used them when we went on vacation and they worked out great. Easy to get on and off. Great Buoyancy. Can be adjusted as swimmers make progress. Leaves arms free to learn different swimming movements. I highly recommend this product.

My kids enjoy playing water with the float on, and we don't need to hold or grab them. I think it's much better than the noodle, as the latter is not safe and doesn't set the hands free to strike. I was just wondering why Walmart or Target doesn't sell it. We looked everywhere after saw it at YMCA kids swimming class (that lifeguard guy is not friendly and just told me he doesn't know where to buy it).

My kids love to wear these. They feel independent, and it helps them learn to swim.

Used the floats for 2 5 year olds who began with significant anxiety about sinking. floats provide confidence that they can splash around and do pushoffs from the steps, etc. without sinking. tin 5weeks they have are in the initial steps of actual swimmming.

My 2 year old daughter has really enjoyed going to the pool using her back float. She does wear her arm floats with it as a precaution but I believe next year she can just use the back float. It's a great tool to help your kids learn to swim.
