Purchased size 7 but were exactly same as size 9 same brand, same style. 9 was too large for me. A smaller size might have worked. Board shorts are made to hang low on hips.

I got these for work. They fit great, not too snug but snug enough to stay put, and help me feel covered up! The color is nice & bright (I got the punch color) and they dry fairly qickly when you've been out of the water! The price was also great, I couldn't be happier with my purchase!!

Loved the way these looked in the photo. Bought a size 5, sent them back for a 3, and even those were too big around the waist/hips. Love the fabric and the cut. But be aware of your own body and the sizing on these shorts.

I was disappointed because the shorts were not at all what they are in the picture on the website. The shorts I received do not have a drawstring- only a button. To me, it seemed like false advertising. I was going to return them, but I kept them because I was headed on vacation and needed them. I do like the shorts I received, but am disappointed that they were not what they advertised and I had looked all over online to find these shorts.

I'm 40 yrs old, athletic build, 5' 9" and 140 pounds. I ordered a size 9 and they are a smidge loose but that is how I like them. They sit nicely on my hips and don't squeeze my thighs. I really like how the front doesn't have velcro but just a string and soft material to tighten them up. I always have to be careful with my velcro shorts to not snag my swim suit. I also like how these shorts are simple, but not mousey.
