The whistle is loud and piercing.  It is the one sound swimmers can''t ignore!

The Sonic Blast is comfortable to hold in your mouth for a long time, when you want to be ready to blow the whistle in a hurry.  I use the whistle both on dry land for lifeguarding,  and in the water for swim lessons.  The whistle works perfectly when wet.  I bought 2 whistles and  2 lanyards.  My name tag is neatly attached to the lanyard above the whistle.  I used to use a Fox 40 Classic whistle, but the Fox Sonic Blast is better.

This product works great!  It's amazing how fast kids turn there heads when 120 decibels are echoing in the indoor pool.  I'm pretty sure I am the most hated lifeguard at my pool now :P!

This is an awesome whistle! Wow, it is so LOUD! As lifeguards we see who can find the loudest whistle... I won! :) But really, definetly works and is worth every penny! Would buy again and again!
Only fault, really, really loud and sharp... I used it once in doors, got their attention!
