My son's head is in the 90th percentile, so I was looking for a hat that would fit him and provide protection from the sun. The measurements on this hat were very accurate, and it fit him well. The material has a little give in it, so I expect this hat to work on him longer than the previous sun hat I bought him.

The best thing about the hat is the chin strap. The clasp on it slides up and down and is easy to operate with one hand. This keeps the hat on his head, even on windy days or if he decides to remove it.

The brim is probably wider on him than it would be on someone whose head is in a smaller percentile, but I like that it covers his entire neck area. If needed, you can also easily turn the brim up.

I have washed it twice so far, and the color and shape hold very well. We have the blue pattern.

The hat is very cute on him. We receive compliments nearly every time he wears it!

This hat is GREAT! It really protects my fair-skinned son's face. The chin strap is very handy.

I didn't even think it would be that perfect!  Just what I was looking for.

lots of postings that the sizes were off..bought both this for my son and my daughter and hat fits well. problem is I bought it for use in the pool.  Started off great, but does not tolerate water well.  Within a few splashes, it is droopy and kids pull it off.  Would be perfect for zoo and outside events..just not the pool.
