Assumed swim caps to function same whether latex or silicone.  Purchased this item based upon appearance but discovered that cap did not stay on my head.  Lifeguard at pool informed me that latex caps will remain on head while silicone do not ( perhaps difference between shaved and unshaven head?). So have item I cannot use for intended purpose.

This is a pretty tight feeling cap but that is what I have been looking for.  I don't feel quite as much like I am going to tear it to pieces each time I put it on.  Also the design is pretty.
