Overall, the "Medium" could be a half size larger at the waist if that doesn't cause it to lose that clinging affect of the spandex/lycra... and the front could use a bit of a "pouch" like underwear usually has, choosing sides behind the front seam is not always a pleasant fit for a man's "jewels".

Slim enough to wear under pants or shorts, but not so tiny as to feel too naked at the public beach. great as biking or running shorts. Very comfortable and keeps you tucked in nicely. The most fashionable men's swim trunks out there. I was worried spending so much, but they are completely worth it.
