I am constantly in chlorinated water. I'd say somewhere in between 3-6 times a week. I need a product that helps keep my suits stay in "wearable" condition for as long as possible. This product helps keep my suits in good condition for a long time. However, the back of the bottle recommends either hang drying your suit or placing it in the dryer. I'd highly suggest hang drying your suits; the suits tend to fall apart faster if they are constantly being placed in a dryer.

Still smell chlorine when I walk into the bathroom where the suit is hung to dry. The blue brand I bought at Dick's wasn't even this good. I have a dechlorinating shampoo that works better than either one.

First, if the five-star rating was called something other than "it doesn't get any better" I probably would have picked it instead of four stars. I don't have a wide exposure to this type of product, so I am only speaking from the perspective of using it alone. I bought a bottle a while ago to see how well it would clean, how long it would last, what I thought of it, etc. The smell is not obnoxious and there is no residue or chlorine smell after the swimsuit is washed/soaked as per directions. I only use a capful per liter, and I soak one or two bathing suits at a time. I swim 3-5 times a week and do the ritual after each trip to the pool. A capful is probably 1/8 of an ounce, and the container is 8 oz, so there is some life with the product. Because it does what I wanted it to do for me, I recently bought 5 more bottles. Some research in my area revealed that local pools/specialty shops don't carry this product and that the product they carry would be 50%-100% more expensive. With total shipping only $6, the cost of each bottle to me is still less than anything I would be able to buy off the shelf in my area. And 5 bottles will last me a long time (I would estimate, at my level of need and use, about 12+ months).

I like the product, the packaging, the smell and it seems to do what it states it does. The problem for me is that I'm in the pool 3/4 times a week and this is not economical enough for me ... I'm going to look for either more product for the money or something else entirely.
