I have waist length hair and have been searching for a swim cap to protect it from the chlorine in my pool, as I swim every day in summer. I also have been looking for something that doesn't make me look like an alien when I wear it, so I finally settled on this cap in black. It's super cute and retro but I found it to be a bit difficult.
First off, it's large. Like... really large. I found that when I put it on I could turn my head and the back sides of the cap moved independently, so water goes right up and under the cap. That defeats the purpose.
Second, the interior of the cap has no liner, so the latex grabs onto your hair and rips it almost completely out every time you put on or take off the cap. It being latex, also smells funky. No good!
Third, the flowers, cute as can be, are super delicate. You can to ensure that you put it on and adjust it ONLY by the cap liner, and work your finders in and under the flowers as you tug or stretch the cap. Not a dealbreaker, but still.
Over all the cap is super cute and I exchanged mine (different company) for a petite "child" version because I like it. It definitely wouldn't last more than a season, but for $16 bucks, what can you do?
