I''m an open water swimmer and I wanted something for chilly June swimming. This cap is a bit too small. I''ll use it but I''m disappointed with the coverage over my ears and forehead.

Like neoprene. Small on my 23+ head. Chin strap a bit loose. Want it to hold in ear molds not yet received.

Bought this for open water swimming. I'm bald and find that my triathlon wet suit is not always enough to keep me warm. This is a great hood. Before I went bald I wore a 7 - 3/4 hat, but that has changed so I wasn't sure which size to order. The med/large was the right choice and even then its almost too small to cover my whole head. Once in the water I never noticed the strap during my mile-long swims. I like that its not all black like so many others. I think it adds some visibility to boaters and spotters, I just wish they also offered the stripe in neon green or orange. I was able to wear a light weigh latex cap in bright red over the top of the hood as long as my goggles we over the top of all of it, otherwise it would roll off. Overall great product.

Ordered this when I realized the water for the triathlon I was doing was 58 degrees. It fit perfect and the strap was not too snug. It made all the difference in the swim and the price was right too. Would recommend this to everyone looking for something similiar.

great, comfortable cap. works well in coastal Maine, so should provide comfortable warmth just about most places. size was accurate, fit is comfortable. The fit over the ears does seem to trap water in my ears, but ear plugs should take care of that.

I use the 19 Neoprene Hood for open water swimming. Lake temperatures in the Pacific Northwest are still quite cold and the '19' has really helped to keep me warm. It goes on easy, stays snug and is just as easily removed. I highly recommend it!!
