Out of the water, these are really a superior product, very well made, cut very well through the crotch (so difficult to find that in boyshorts or tight board shorts), and the fit is excellent. But there are serious problems with getting them wet , which for me, defeats the whole purpose of wearing them. The material used, which is so comfortable and looks so good dry, should do great in the water, it's made for that, but the shorts ride up in the crotch when swimming (I was actually sore afterward), and when you get out of the water, everything shows, and I mean everything. They completely conform to your body...down there. And there is no way to "adjust" them to fix the problem. Plus, they take at least two days to dry, which is inconvenient after washing if you want to wear them again the next day, and completely impractical while wearing them--they just stay wet once you get them wet. So unfortunately a very impractical product, unless you just want to look cool and stay OUT of the water.
