The empire fit and deep v-cut is very slimming. I am using it as a swimsuit coverup, and it is very flattering. The bust area is way too small (for me) to be worn alone as a dress, but maybe for the smaller chested it would be good. It has a bit of unremovable padding in the cups, which I wish I could remove without having to restitch it.
