I am allergic to the rubber in most dive fins, so I was excited to find a pair that is latex-free. I like the adjustable strap on these, which can accommodate most sizes. However, the clips holding the strap on fall off way too easily. After only 3 uses, I lost one in the ocean. I went to several dive shops, but wasn't able to find a replacement clip that fit. I called Speedo, but they do not have replacement parts available. So these are basically useless to me now.

The short training version is great and I recommend it. But this stiffer, longer version, while having a exceptional blade design, does not work well in the water. Specifically, you need the leverage of the bottom of the heal against the the heal of the fin in order to create a downward motion of the fin.

I was not prepared for the holes in the fins (although they are clearly visible in the sales image). They sure make the fins easier to use for beginners but they provide less propulsion then I am used to from my older pair of solid fins.
