The straps stay up during water exercise, but because they cross so high in the back, it's more difficult to put on.

This is a wonderful lap suit.....the material is "thick"/tight and truly lets you exercise feeling very secure that all stays in place while working out.

I really like the fit. I use it for water exercise classes, have only used a couple of weeks so far,but the last one i purchased lasted 2 years going 4 times a week in the pool. Pretty amazing!!
