We use this bag to put our 5-year-old son's swim gear in when they have water days at daycare. It easily holds a full-size beach towel, his swim trunks and his rash guard. It would still easily hold a bottle of  sun block and snacks, if necessary. The outside pocket holds an average size water bottle too. It has easy pull straps to close the bag and it is light enough for him to wear on his back as a backpack.

Who could ask for more, the kid loves it.   The bag is big enough to roll up a normal sized towel + watershoes and extra kid-sized clothes.  Water bottle pocket does not seem too stretchy so larger bottles may not fit - normal store-bought bottled water is about the size to judge.   Shoulder straps are the drawstring closure and are wide enough to be comfortable. Velcro adjustment to the shoulderstraps allow for kid sizing.  Mesh sides vent the bag so a wet towel won't smell !!! Ideal!  Can't wait to start camp !
