These Sockwa socks are terrific for beach wear protection against sharp zebra mussel shells and other irritants from a lake shore. Water flows easily through them while swimming as they are lightweight allowing water to flow through. I love the selection of colors as they easily coordinate with my swim wear.

Got these to supplement use of Body Glove Scuba Shoes.  These are more socklike.  We used both the Sockwa and more shoe-like products on a recent trip to the reef in Belize, where we did much kayaking and snorkeling.  These were a nice alternative when it was not critical to avoid coral - and I loved them in camp (we were advised against going barefoot).
I may use them for in my house and certain fitness classes, as well!

I loved my own pair so much that I am giving this pair for Christmas.  They were great protection against the abrasion of sand at the beach and even more fantastic at the pool.  I walk in the water for about 20 minutes or more for exercise, and the rough concrete can really do a number on the bottom of my feet.   Wearing the Sockwa Beach Sock is like walking on velvet.  I don't have anything negative to say, except that the price is pretty steep (for me, anyway), but I sure appreciate them.
