Quick Helpful Advice
By xDLXSFx from Duluth, MN on 1/10/2012
All and all, this is a good product. I recommend this to people that really enjoi music while excercising. The 'hinge' attached to the ear-pieces are pointless, the tend to pull out the ear-bud itself, (especially if you have a swimcap over the ears) so take them off. The ear-buds though take a bit of getting used to; make your ear-holes a little tender after a good 30-min use. Ive only used it for a cpl weeks now, and so far nothing too complicated or disappointing. Fits quite a bit of music, decent battery life, clear sound, and plus it floats so you dont have to dive for it! I think it was worth the $90. Hope this helps!

Piece of Junk
By Squid from Omaha, NE on 1/1/2012
I use an underwater MP3 player for swimming laps all the time, and I  love it, but the Speedo Aquabeat is the biggest piece of junk I have ever purchased.  It never worked, I was never able to load music onto the player, and Speedo refused to refund my money.  I purchased a basic underwater housing for an existing MP3 player and it works great.

Excellent for Lap Swimming
By Lonnie W. from White Plains, NY on 9/8/2011
Love them!!  I've only had them for 2 weeks and I wanted to wait until I had some time under my belt before writing a reivew.  The first couple of days it took some gettng use to.  The one thing I immediately realized is that the earpiece that connects around your earlobe is worthless - take it off and only use the part that actually fits into your ear.  It will stay by itself becuase it is "ribbed" and will fit nice & snug.  It just takes some getting use to having it in your ear.  I must say that I have now mastered having it in my ear and listening to music.  It also comes with an extension so you can actually clip it onto your swim trunks or swim suit (females).  I perfer it clipped to the back top of my goggles; fits perfectly there.  I'd rather not have the lose extension/wire dangling in my lane. Wow!!! This is a God send!  I wish I had known about this years ago.  If your thinking about getting it - stop thinking and purchase this one.  My only concern is how long will it last?  I've read someone's earlier review which they stated it only lasted eight months.  If you swim 5 days a week like I do you won't want to ever swim without music again!!!!  Great Great prodcut (so far).

Went downhill
By susan m. from Medford, OR on 9/5/2011
My first worked wonderful for over a year. I loved it. I have now had 2 replacements in the last few months. Swim Outlet is great about swapping them out but I am now very frustrated. I am going to try a different one. I have tried everything in the manuel and instructions to get them to work! I give up.  I really think there is a bad group or something since the swapped ones also do not work properly.

Great for the price
By greg f. from colorado springs, CO on 9/5/2011
My iPad will have nothing to do with it, I have to get assistance from a more computer savvy friend to load it but no problems with operations! It has made my swims much more pleasant and has made it easy to extend sessions!
