The suit is very well made and gorgeous - even prettier in person than the on screen. My daughter wears an 8 so I bought the 8. The bikini pieces fit perfectly but the swim shirt was minuscule. I gave it to a friend for their 5 year old (yes, it's that tiny). That was very disappointing because the shirt was our main reason for the purchase. My advice would be at the very least, go up a size.

I bought this mainly for the rash guard for my daughter for the beach. She's not a big fan of 2 piece suits so I didn't think she'd wear it without the rash guard. But she loved it. The bottoms offer great coverage and are very flattering on her. The top is not too skimpy and comfortable. The suit stayed put through hours of playing in the ocean.

The suit is great. My ten year old wore it most of our week long vacation. The rash guard fit well and was removed when she got hot but it came in handy for boogie boarding, the bottom band of the top was a little baggy/big for my average size kid but still worked okay if we didn't tie the neck ties too tight. The bottoms fit great and the suit dried quickly between swims.
