now we swim alot and these suits seem to hold up pretty well except for occasional fading...although that can be partly blamed on some of the pools we have to go to that don't manage their cholrine as well as they should; I have bought it several years in a row with different patterns/colors and some seem to do a bit better and if my kids had not changed sizes then they might have gotten more than 2 yrs out of them (one passes on to the other sometimes); now one version lasted only just past the summer season with  about 5 m of use instead of the usual 6-12 m that I typically get

I purchased the suit for my daughters 9th birthday, we had a pool party! It is so cute!! She looks sporty and girly in it!! Most bathing suits for little girls show more then I am comfortable with, this was perfect! Two pieces so she can go to the bathroom easily but comes together at the waist so she doesn't show too much skin. Great Buy!
