I bought these about 6 months ago and I am an everyday swimmer. I swim 2 miles daily. I got about 160 miles of swimming and the plastic around the toe area is cracking, On one fin the crack is around the edge of the foot plastic and the other is across the main part of the flipper ( cutting it in half ). They are a good training flipper and I like them very much but I thought that they would have lasted longer. I am going to try another companies training flipper and see if I have the same results. This flipper is the right size for swim training, it is just the right size for long distance swimming without the flipper length to cheat as much on the workout. They will not replace the fins after 60 days so look for the cracks early

I wear a size 9.5 shoes and I went with the 8-9 fins. I LOVE these fins! I've been swimming my whole life and NO FINS come close to these babies. I think you should just try them yourself to know if they are right fit for you. Gives you amazing legs in no time!

I bought these fins to use during practice daily, without knowing how heavy and inflexible they really are. I liked nothing about this product. After 3 months my brother's fell apart, and I wish mine had. Most fins make swimming faster, these actually slowed me down considerably. They cause a ton of stress on my ankles and were so dense that they do not even float.

I wear a size 10.5 men's shoe. The XL swim fin is the right size for me. My daughter wears a size 6 women's shoe. The XS is the right size for her. I have worn them 3-4 times, but what a workout. I can feel the muscles in my entire leg working and getting stronger. It helps my ankles and knees with flexibility and strength (my main reason for getting the fins.) After swimming with the fins, I took them off and swam without them. My kick is definitely improving; I can swim faster just from a few training sessions. My daughter has lots of fun swimming with them; I am sure that they are improving her swimming ability, too. This is the first swim fin I have ever used. I cannot compare this to other products.

I was looking for something to make my part time swimming workouts more fun. These are my first fins and I am very happy with them. I use them for 1/3 of my work out but I am swimming longer. I agree with the reviewer on the sizing. The XXL were just right for my size 12 1/2 foot.
