These goggles are my son's favorite! He uses them all the time for competitive swimming. When he swims an outdoor meet, he uses the Speedo Vanquisher Plus goggles. Paired with the Bettertimes Bungee Strap, you can't beat them!
My Boys have been swimming since they were 7 years old. My 18 year old believes these are the only goggles to wear. If they aren't Vanquishers we don't buy them.
I usually like the older, wider frame foam gasket (Speedo Pro I believe) goggles, but they're harder for me to find lately. I wear glasses and contacts, so I decided to take a chance and buy the Vanquisher with the corrective lens, and I've really loved them (and am surprised that I do!). Even though they fit more on the "fleshy" part of my eye, I can wear them loose enough where they don't squish my eyes and don't leave marks afterwards (and don't leak on flip turns). I don't swim competitively anymore, so I don't know how they'd do on a dive. ALSO, I decided to buy a 2nd pair WITHOUT corrective lenses (so I can wear them with my contacts) and they've been just as good. I don't know how they'll be in the long run as far as anti-fog (which is working REALLY well right now), but I think I've figured out that if you don't touch the lens, they'll continue to work well for a long time.
These goggles fit well, but are not as comfortable as other goggles I have used. They are a good backup pair for me.
I swam competitively for 7 years and for pleasure for 10 years. These are the best goggles I've ever personally tried. Zero leaks even on aggressive dives or flip turns. Clear lens and comfortable fit. The other lifeguards and I fight over these when we are about to empty out the lost and found. When my current pair eventually wears out I'll definitely be buying either this or the Vanquisher Plus.
I have the pickiest swimmer and she loves these!
