I love the shape. Good for working the upper body and helpful as floatation aid while working legs. But, I think I'll outgrow this resistance quickly.
The bells were ordered via internet without testing. After the first use, I discovered the resistance is not as great as I had hoped so I am experiencing some disappointment in this department. I do like the design and color of the bells as they are easy to personalize and to carry or pack.
I have used this product for 3 years, 4 to 5 days a week, until it finally got to looking so beat up that I ordered a new pair. These Delta Bells are just the right size for a good excercise program. You can't believe the resistance you get when excercising with them.
I get a better workout using them. (I ordered blue and what I got was purple - but I didn't want to wait to start using them, so I kept them.)
I had never ordered this product before, so I chose the middle of the road for resistance. I was wrong. It would have been a much better choice to order the heaviest resistance. Medium is way too easy, but this was my decision and not a problem of DeltaBells. I really appreciate the thought that went into the design of the DeltaBells when they chose to make openings at the ends of the triangles for water to drain. I know that I will not be dripping water all over myself, the floor, or inside my duffel bag when I'm done exercising in the pool. If you have ever seen others shake dumb bells, or roll them over and over to encourage water to drain, you'll not have this problem with DeltaBells.
Great, they do work, but I wish now I had purchased the dumbbell style, these are little harder to use in shallow water and create more "wake" in a class setting, my friend got the rounded type, and I think they are more suited to class type workouts
