First one died while doing the initial charge.  The second one worked for a couple of hours until it went in the water.  While treading water it started cutting out within the first couple of minutes and was completely dead in 5 minutes.  Next one will be another brand

Two Year Review

The unit is still going strong after two years!  I use it for swimming, biking, and running. No problems at all.  Battery life is great.  I highly recommend this player. Makes your routines so much more pleasurable especially lap swimming. You might experience some confusion regarding the menu at first but you'll quickly become familiar with the various options.

Still Can't Figure Out All the Different Modes

First time I used this product, forgot to lock the screen so it kept skipping songs.  2nd time, it played all the songs then came to a complete stop after the last song.  
Can someone help explain to me all the different play modes?  What's DIR ALL REPEAT vs. REPEAT ALL?  Manual failed to explain this along with what DIR stands for.  I just need to have all songs played continuously like the old silver dolphin so what mode is best for this?  Thank you.

Well this little thing works pretty well.  I bought it for kite boarding and am impressed.  If you can't figure out how to use it WITHOUT instructions you don't know tech.  

Notice most of the bad reviews are from people who are confused.  If you can't figure out how to use it with no instructions you don't deserve one.

As for the rest of us....the only complaint I have are the buds.  They are tough to change out to smaller ones and they do seem to bother my ear a bit, but I'll get used to it.

Guess I got lucky

Have had mine for close to two years and other than being on my 5th set of ear plugs I really don't have any complaints. It was a bit hard to figure out at first because of the poor instructions but I kind of like figuring out stuff like that. I swim about an hour 3 times a week.

am now getting ready to ask for a 3rd unit... i love the sound quality but the unit quits working less than a couple of months later... the 2nd one only lasted about a month.... hoping the company can replace again !!!!
