IMPORTANT SAFETY PRACTICE
It is recommended that you test the life jacket with your child in shallow water to ensure that it will offer maximum buoyancy, keeping the head and chin above water. Based on their body weight distribution, children float differently than adults.
How to check for a good fit: Pick the child up by the shoulders of the PFD while outside of the water. If the PFD fits correctly, the chin and ears will not slip through the top opening of the PFD.

It works well with my 3 and 5 year old. The smaller size that was reccomended were too small. This jacket runs small but it fits well. We are happy with the purchase.

My grandson, seven years old, is learning to swim and loves the pool. This vest helps him feel secure while learning how to swim. I like how the vest is adjustable so that it can grow with him. Thanks so much for a great vest. I will recommend your site to all of my friends.

My 5-year-old grandson wore the Finis Life Jacket for the first time yesterday and his Mom reported to me that it was wonderful! He had been wearing water wings and using a ring float all last summer. She said he had so much mobility in the water, and was jumping off the edge of the pool into the water with confidence. My kids swim in the bay and I worry that another child might pull them under. All my friends' kids wear life jackets and they all love this one. It adjusts to fit snuggly and doesn't ride up to their neck.. i have the red and blue one.
