My 4 year old wears this suit happily (mostly because it's pink, but also because in early summer she had sunburnt shoulders.)
We've used it at outdoor pools and splash pads, and it seems to be wearing well. Best of all, no sunburnt backs and shoulders. We also use a lot less sunscreen, which is nice since there are so many controversial ingredients in most of them.
