The first pair we ordered were too small. However, when I went up 2 sizes from what my shoe size is they are a little roomy (which is good, hopefully they will still fit next year). My daughter wore them in the ocean and they were great. We bought them for use in the community pool which has a rough surface on the bottom and they protect her feet well.
