I use this sock to protect my dogs stump leg when she goes swimming, (size S).  We secure sock with elastic ribbon tied to the back loop, going around dogs back, and then attached to sock again by an eyelet hole we made just under where the two seams cross at top of sock.  Often times the little leg is still dry after taking the sock off.  Love the vibrant red, and the pretty pink- vibrant beautiful colors! Matches great with her Ruff Wear Float Coat!

I got these to use in the water at the pool when I do water aerobics because the bottom of my feet were hurting from the pool surface when we jog.  I put them on, loved the feel and fit.  I wore them twice and they had holes in the them! :(  

When I first got them, I really looked at the bottoms of them and they looked like they would wear well, but they did not.  Now I am out the $ and have not solved the issue.  I did think about getting another pair and then sewing an added bottom to them maybe in suede so they would last longer since they did not drag or fill-up with water as water shoes do.

Great idea, my sons toes always get raw in the pool, but the socks had holes in them by the 2nd use. I had looked for this on the net for two years.
