Size: Feels too big

I bought the blue shorts version for my 16 month old son who has absolutely no fear in the water! I'm not generally a Nervous Nellie type parent, but I do draw the line at possible drowning. This is just what I was looking for in this in-between time until he learns more about water safety and swimming. It's remarkably hard to find products for kids his age and size, so I was happy to find this!

I do wish it fit a bit more snugly. He's 23 pounds (only in the 25th percentile for his age) and the label says for 20-30 pounds. I think it will fit him much better when he's closer to 30. It's still good for helping my husband and I feel safer with him in the water though, so I'm glad I bought it.

My 2 year old is very small, 16 lbs - so the 12 to 24 mo. size fits perfect,and is safe, since she's busy running and doing all that a normal size 2 year old does - safe for an active toddler. All I found in stores prior to looking here started at 20 or 25 lbs and just didn't have safe and correct fit.

WOW! I wish I was paying more attention this summer regarding our vacation to the Bahamas in November. We live in the Northeast and of course when I started to think about our trip and our 17 month olds needs in terms of a swimsuit, there were none to be found! I googled and came across this swim suit but of course was a bit concerned with size and overall fit. She is a peanut and only 22 pounds at 17 months but the infant size was just right and we are SO happy with our purchase! We have told everyone we could about this bathing suit and our daughter was like a little fish! It gave her just enough help when she would lose her balence to help her gain the confidence she needed in the kiddie pools.
The only downside was that it rode up a bit when she was sitting down on the slides but she did not seem to mind. Amazing quality and the built in SPF was tremendous!
