It does take away the chlorine odor along with the itchy feeling.  I do use a smaller container to put on my gym bag; the supersize 16oz bottle is a little too big even though the price is right.

I mostly bought this product because i am extremely eco friendly and this product has not been tested on animals. I also am very pleased with the product, i do a lot of swimming so it's nice not smelling like chlorine all day! :)  i did however have to put it in a travel size container so i could take it to the gym, but it's nice having lots of refill :) definitely a lot for your money!
