This board was rather inexpensive compared to others I found online and served its purpose well. Two grandsons used it, although one used it more than the other. It does take tenacity to master the balance needed to use one of these skim boards and falling numerous times is inevitable. I would recommend for children because they can fall and get right back up -- adults can fall once and not be as fortunate. To make sure that didn't happen, I only allowed the children to ride this skimboard.  We keep it at our home in Florida for any company we receive and where children want to give it a try.
