The amount of items you can fit is tremendous.  Going to the beach was made simple with all the pockets available.  The mesh made it nice when we left and simply shook the sand out.  
Only change or addition would be some type of softer handle and an inside pocket that is not mesh to keep certain personal items out of view.

When I ordered this "canvas" bag I was expecting just that.  What I got is canvas mesh.  Come to find out I just love this bag.  After water aerobics class I don't have to worry about my bag becoming mildewed due to the wet contents.  Having all those pockets is terrific.  The only thing I am reluctant to put in there is my cell phone because the moisture comes through the bag.  There are plenty of places to put my keys, locker lock, shampoo and 5 or 6 other things.  I highly recommend this bag.

After much online searching for the perfect beach/pool bag, I just bought this one for the kick-off of the summer 2011 season. It passed the Memorial Day Weekend test with flying colors! I wanted a bag big enough to hold 2-3 beach towels--enough for the whole family*--and one with holes in the bottom so that if it got wet at the pool, it would dry and the water wouldn't stay in...This bag does all I had hoped it would and more! The interior is definitely roomy enough for all our towels, and the multitude of handy pockets on the outside are great for sunscreen, wallet, kids' goggles and swim toys, etc. The handy key fob on the inside makes sure I never lose my car keys. The bright yellow color with green straps and orange key holder is cheery and you can't miss it at the pool. As described, it stands up on its own and doesn't flop over, which is a plus when searching around for things in it. I've no doubt it would work just as well at the beach. It's sturdy and should last us for many years to come. Great product--I highly recommend it!

A great bag.  It fits everything (beach towels, fins, etc.).  The straps make it convinient to carry over the shoulder or in hand.  It is stiff, so it holds its shape and does not fall from the wind.  The sand falls through the holes, so you do not bring any home.  I was not sure about the color (yellow), but it turned out to be a great choice -- easy to spot our bag when getting out of the ocean.  My only wish it had zipped compartments.  The outside pockets are deep enough so nothing fell out.

I bought this to take to the indoor pool.  It is a little bigger than I had anticipated but it works very well for carrying wet items such as weights, fins, snorkel, and wet bathing suit and towels.  I would buy it again.  I would like to see this in a size smaller also.
