My daughters wear these shirts to swim and play in the sun. They just came home from a full day at the beach at their torso's are tan/burn free. The shirts run a little small so I buy one size up to ensure a comfortable fit. My girls also wear these shirts to camp so that they have one less item to change out of and to keep track of.
