The material tends to bag and feels a bit scratchy. It's not awful, I'm using the suit every day. I DID get it on sale. But I wouldn't get another one, not even on sale. If it stretches at ALL it will be to big...just a matter of time really.
I was using a lycra jammer, which, of course, failed about about 3 months of use. I needed a training jammer that was going to last both in and out of the water. This one lives up to it. The polyester PBT blend should last a very long time, as most suits of this build do. Keep in mind, this is NOT a competition suit. Yes, you can swim in it, but this fabric blend will create more drag, and when you are looking to shave fractions of a second off of times, this isn't the suit to be doing it in. However, if you are a triathlete, and you are looking for a short that will take you from swim, to bike, to run, with no worries, this certainly fits the bill. The fabric is more durable, not only with chlorine exposure, but also with dry-land wear and tear. The fit is very good. Clean water rinse only. Don't be throwing your suits in the washing machine unless you want to be buying new ones well before you should. This suit should last a VERY long time.
I bought these for my kids for a few years now. The price is good and they wear really well. The last pair I bought lasted for two years (two competitive swim seasons), my kid grew out of them! The only complaint my kids had about this particular model was that the stripes ar a little unconfortable when they first wear it. I think this will improve after a few weeks of wear. They do run a bit big though, as compared to Speedos so you may want to consider one size down.
These are a little lower cut than than standard jammers, but work well for my son.
Great colors and style....my grandson loved them!
We use it for summer swim team swim meets. The size fits perfect. The chart to help find the right size was helpful. It is a good fit. Comfortable.
