Great sound
By Ally from Boulder, CO on 11/16/2010
I use these while swimming laps - the sound is great, but the key to that is to keep water out of your ears and the earbuds.  The only way to do that is to pull a swim cap completely over your ears.  Sometimes when doing flipturns a bit a water will get in one ear, but overall I can keep the water out and the sound on!  If water gets in your ears, the sound will greatly diminish or completely disappear.  Stop, get water out, keep going. Easy enough!

Failed in Just 2 months.
By Cliff C. from Portland, OR on 8/31/2010
I bought these headphones with high expectations of performance and durability for everyday pool lap swimming.  I purchased them in June 2010, and used them 4 times a week for 2 hours in a pool, they worked pretty good (not great) for the first month. By August 2010 the left headphone failed completely and the right cuts in and out.  Absolutely NOT worth what they are asking for them.  They are no better than the $19.95 cheap pair that you can buy online here.  So buy 3 cheap pair instead and they will last longer in the long run.  The ability to change the size of the foam piece for the ear bud was good because you could get it to fit well.  So great now I have an expensive pair of well fitting ear plugs that make no sound....my advice...find a different product.

Better than the original H2O headphones
By Scott C. from Boynton Beach, FL on 7/12/2010
I had the original headphones; they gave out (one side died) after about a year.  The new surge headphones have better sound quality and don't develop that temporarily "muffled" sound when water gets in the ear piece.  The range of ear receptacles is good, and requires some testing to find the right one.  Looping the cord through the goggle strap also helps to keep them in place.

I like these
By LAUREL B. from PITTSFIELD, MA on 5/12/2010
I find them very comfortable to wear. With mulit plugs you can get the one to fit your ear properly.  I hated the headphones that came with my speedo mp3 player.  They should come with these to begin with.  I think it was worth the money.
