I'm a 6/8 and ordered a large. All of my other swim suits are large, but this is the only one where I had a muffin-top. I'm not all muscle, but I'm not all flab either- the waist band fit in a way that pushed my skin up and over the edge of the swim suit and made me feel uncomfortable with the way I looked.
Go a size larger than what you think you need if you're afraid of the muffin-top, too!

This bathing suit is by far the best fit for surfing or other water sports for active girls that still want cute style. I have been looking for so long for a swim suit that acually stays on while i surf the wave(wavehouse). This short paired with the baby love top is a winner.
