The pointzero3 is the product of thinking about getting the best out of non wetsuit-legal swims. Like blueseventy's award-winning Helix wetsuit, the super slick surface layer on the pointzero3 has a drag coefficient of 0.032, which is over 50 times lower than skin and more than 4 times lower than other swim skins on the market. The pointzero3 features an extra-stretchy band of Lycra that works to mechanically decouple the arms from the rest of the suit. Also, like the Helix, the pointzero3's seamlines have been made for swimming, not running like most other wetsuit brands.
Ideal for athletes wanting a suit for events where wetsuits are not permitted Helix technology offers increased range of motion and reduced water entry Neutral buoyancy The pointzero3 is legal for all FINA, USAT, WTC and DTU events Fold-over soft stitching in shoulder panels reduces chafing SCS fabric reduces the surface drag co-efficient 3-5% reduction in swim times Quick Exit Leg panels make getting out of the suit easier

I still love this suit, but just found out that as of 15 July 2010, this suit is NOT on FINA's list of legal suits. See FINA's list at their website: http://www.fina.org/H2O/

Love the suit. Fits wonderfully and I feel so fast in it, but... ...I got this wetsuit because Swimoutlet said it was legal, and their customer service people that I emailed said it would be legal for all FINA open water events. But now, when I search at FINA's site, I see nothing about this being legal for open water. What gives?
