Went snorkeling in Kaua'i and loved this mask/camera! The light beep when it takes a pic was helpful and actually attracted fish to us. It does automatically turn off rather quickly into storage mode but got the hang of it pretty quick. Works above water just as well. The camera part did push in on my face funny when I went under but the pros way out way any cons.
