The suit is the correct waist size in that it's the same number as any other brand. However, the suit is tiny height wise, being almost an inch shorter at the waist front. I can't see the rear, but it feels shorter there by a bit. Other than that, through the first few wearings, it hasn't done anything different than the lycra suits.

Very small for size. Flat cut across front. Perfect for female form. No relief designed in. Nice quality. NICE LOOKING but uncomfortable and way too tight for me.

I bought this for my 8 yr old son who pays on a waterpolo team. It was awsome to find it in his size and his team color I wish I had bought 4 of them.

My four year old is a competitive swimmer- I decided to try these b/c of the great price. They are so cute on him (we got a red and a blue). They are polyester and so seem like they will last a while. The only complaint- if the strings untie, the suit falls down. Most suits are tight enough around the waist so that even when untied they stay up. this isn't a big deal- we just make sure the suit is tied! The fit is good- as I said, he looks adorable in it!

Nice suit, good material. As with most polyester suits, not nearly as much stretch as lycra. Sizing feels right, though this suit seems to be cut a bit smaller than other brands. You might want to go up a size for a bit more coverage.
