Figuring out how to put together and operate the product was my biggest hassle ... the directions weren't great and putting on/taking off the back part can be a little difficult ... as for the performance of the product I like it ... I use it while I swim laps ... I think the fact that I wear a swim cap really helps keep the earphones in place while swimming ... I haven't tried swimming with the product without a swim cap ... I don't have any problems with the volume ... I've used it many times and I've had no gliches with it being in cold or hot water ...
I was expecting to enjoy music while lap swimming. Not so. The bulkiness at the ears creates too much drag, preventing the speakers from staying in place. After reinserting the earplug speakers, they were only good for about 5 strokes. Outside of the water the sound quality good and ease of use is great, but thats not what I need. My training partner uses H2O proof IPOD shuffle case with tiny little wires and has no problems. I have no return for my investment.
The product needs a little more attention. I workout in a indoor pool environment and with all the noise of the kids the unit could not get loud enough to block the rest of the indoor noise out. A matter of fact I couldn't hear the music at all with the other noise. Also a software program would be nice if it was included to make the user able to arrange their music on the memory card. I would be in the middle of a workout with fast music to get switched up to new age stuff I like to listen to in the sauna. It should also be a little more rugget since its made for pool usage which is outdoors it has to be expected that it could be dropped the rubber holders that are in place I guess to protect the earpiece and block water out falls out very easily and I lost one of them the first week in use and I never even dropped it. Other then all that the product is good for the price.
Directions poor. Headset too large for women's head, even after adjusting it. Hope it works while swimming. I can see it will be okay for water exercises. Does not work with many audio books that have wma files because it doesn't have wma drm. 3 sizes of earplugs still too large.
The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because there were no instructions on loading music onto the MP3. After trial and error, I figured out that all of the music must be in one "file" in order for all of the songs to be accessible. Otherwise, it will just play one file. It took time, but was worth it. The sound is very good and the earphones are comfortable for swimming and the unit moves with you as you come up or turn for air.
works really well in the water for aerobics. A few times have had problems turning it off, button gets stuck.Needs to come with better instructions.
