I used to use an adidas duffel bag, and come time for those big meets where you bring like two towels, two sweatpants, two sweatshirts and a ton of other stuff, fitting it into the duffel was difficult, and it was bulging out. This backpack makes it soooo much easier. Everything fits easily, and it is so much easier to carry onto a pool deck without worrying that you're going to pelt someone walking by.

Bag that can contain a lot, but I don't know why it is a swimming backpack, except for the waterproof bottom. I thought there would be more mesh pockets, but there are none.

This backpack did NOT fit a full size kickboard as stated in the description. Also it was difficult to locate and grab equipment etc out of the bag unless it was completely unzipped and opened - and then stuff was falling out - not a good backpack for an 11 year old with lots of gear to keep track of. This backpack did seem well made but we didn't actually use it. We traded it in and LOVE the Speedo Pro backpack. Though it doesn't fit the kickboard, it can easily be unzipped to expose a very roomy light colored interior. It is easy to locate and pull "stuff" out with out losing other "stuff". A much better choice for a kid.
